$30 USB Dongle as Bluetooth Hacking Device

Yesterday it was the announcement of the further ease of hacking WEP and today we find out that a group of people has figured out a way to load Bluetooth hacking software onto a $30 USB dongle. Excellent.

According to the article, with this tool you can listen in on Bluetooth conversations (I never liked the cyborg earpieces anyway!) as well as use that Bluetooth access point to infiltrate internal networks and access encrypted data. So, if your company is distributing laptops with Bluetooth capabilties, ensure they're disabled or you could have a massive security problem on your hands as this hack spreads.

Scary stuff...
