Rate of New Secunia Advisories Trending Downward?

Checking the Secunia web site today for some research on a security product, I happened to notice the top graph on their Advisory Statistics page. I recognize that we're only half-way through the month of March, but there appears to be a downward trend in identified attacks on systems over the past few months.

I doubt Vista's release has significantly impacted these numbers with the slow adoption rate of Vista in corporate circles. Have the virus writers moved onto bigger and better things, or are we getting better at finding the holes?

Your thoughts?
