MS Patch Improves Outlook 2007 Performance

Some admins with very large mailboxes are seeing performance problems with Outlook after the upgrade to Outlook 2007. Apparently part of this problem is a code issue as Microsoft has released a patch that helps speed up things a bit.

Check out Rod Trent's blog post on what he did to speed up his Outlook 2007 performance. At that post he has a link to the Microsoft patch that remedies part of the problem.

I hav had problems with a client that got a new machine that has outlook 2007, but the rest of the office is running outlook 2003. The machine with 2007 cannot get emails from the 2003 clients. I've looked for a patch, but nothing along those lines. Any suggestions?

AFAIK, there are no interoperability problems between O2003 and O2007 that are specifically resolved through a patch. That being said, there might be a misconfiguration on the O2007 machine that is casuing mail not to be processed. I hate to say it, but your information here just isn't that much to go off of.
