TechMentor Vegas Web Site Up for Business

Being on the steering committee for TechMentor means I've got a certain bias for this conference. But I can honestly say that out of the three years that I've been doing it, this upcoming TechMentor in Vegas will be hands-down the best we've done in years.

One major change is the combination of TechMentor with VSLive. So, you can get your systems administration fix from TechMentor while you get your developer chops from VSLive. We're offering a bunch of registration upgrades that get you access to better schwag as well as entry into both conferences.

Check out the TechMentor web site at www.techmentorevents.com. We'll shortly be adding the list of sessions to the page. Although I can't tell you much yet about what's on the agenda, I'll sneak in this little tidbit. I'll be teaching 12 sessions this year, more than in any previous year. The list of sessions I'm teaching looks like this...

VMware Virtual Infrastructure Crash Course (Pre-Con)
Getting the Most out of the New Windows Event Log
Another Brick in the Wall: Isolation Groups and the Vista Firewall
Top Tricks for Monitoring & Analyzing System Performance (Don't miss this one!)
Windows Terminal Services vs Citrix: Which One Wins?
Tips & Tricks for Preventing an Active Directory Failure
WSUS 3.0 Architecture, Implementation, & Troubleshooting
Vulnerability Management: Beyond Patching
System Center Essentials: Why You Need It
IE7 Deep Dive: Protecting Against Spyware, Phishing, and Bad Employees
The Best Free Tools for Windows Server Administration (This one's not to miss either!)
Faster, Better, Cheaper: Disaster Recovery with Virtualization

Of the hundred or so sessions that we'll be hosting at this upcoming TechMentor, these are the ones that I'll be teaching. So, if you'd like to meet up and learn a bit, please join us in Vegas!

Note: We like to keep track of how people make their way to TechMentor. So, if you do sign up for TechMentor this year, please use the priority code "shields".
