"Windows Admin Scripting with VBScript" Video Series Released

Sorry for the sales job here, but I'm pretty excited about this news!

My most-recent video series "Windows Admin Scripting with VBScript" has been released through CBT Nuggets. This series of 20 videos will teach you exactly what you need to know to use VBScript for Windows Systems Administration!

Many scripting guides are little better than reference materials, and many how-to scripting videos go too far into syntax and structure and all the stuff about scripting that turned you off on programming long ago.

This series dives straight into the topics that Windows Administrators need most:

- Check disk space on all your servers
- Install software remotely all across your network
- Creating a list of users and number of users on your Terminal Servers for analysis
- Identifying what software is installed on a remote machine.

We end up with a capstone project where you'll learn the scripting skills you need to create the holy grail of scripts: One that will allow you to update HKEY_CURRENT_USER information for every person on every machine all across your network! Need to make a change to IE settings, but they're stored in HKCU. Doing this before was hard. With VBScript and a few external tools, its easy.

If you're interested in the video, its currently on sale with an introductory price of $99 at http://www.cbtnuggets.com/webapp/product?id=248. For that price, even a little learning is worth it!

If you've got comments or questions about the format, content, or what to expect, feel free to drop them into a comment below or email me! If you're on the fence and want to see an example of one of the videos, you can stream one for free at this address (registration required):
