Mimosa Systems Snail Mailing "Email Archiving for Dummies" Book for Free

Over at MCPMag.com, Mimosa Systems is offering up a free paperback book in the mail to anyone who signs up. Mine arrived in the mail last week over the holiday.

Though most of this slim book contains info any mail admin likely is already aware of, its most useful parts are...

...Chapter 8 where the authors discuss the top ten major benefits of email archiving and the appendix. The appendix discusses all of the major governmental regulations that drive email retention. Its written in plain english and a nice compilation of the reasons why SOX, HIPAA, FRCP, et al, require data archival.
