Active Directory User Isolation with IIS's FTP

Admittedly, FTP is really an old and insecure protocol that you shouldn't use unless you have to. But, in those cases where you have to, I read this great article on limiting the scope of user access by manipulating their user object's Active Directory parameters. An excellent idea that I wish were available before just now...

Check out the SBS Bloggers web site for this great step-by-step on how to set up AD User Isolation with FTP.

One question I do have is this: Are you still using FTP? If so, for what use? Have you looked at SFTP or SCP (the secure variants) and will they work for your purpose?
