Today's Virtualization Options: The Products, When You Need Them, and When You Don't

If you've read my recent book The Shortcut Guide to Selecting the Right Virtualization Solution, you're aware that there's plenty of options available on the market today. That book attempts to clear the fog between some of the common options while at the same time explaining others that may not get enough exposure in the press.

Related to that book, I'm doing a webinar on April 15th called Today's Virtualization Options: The Products, When You Need Them, and When You Don't. In this webinar I'll talk about some of the content in the book as well as take your questions.

Here's the blurb for the presentation. Hope to see you there!

The question in today's IT environments is no longer, "Should we virtualize?" These days, the question is more likely, "How should we do it?" With a host of similar-looking and similar-sounding products available for virtualizing your computing environment, you may be confused about the tools and platforms that are available. Even more confusing is understanding the differences between those products and knowing which one fits your needs the best.

If you're considering virtualization for your environment and want to untangle the options from the FUD in the market, take a few minutes from your day to listen to this webcast.

Hosted by Greg Shields, author of The Shortcut Guide to Selecting the Right Virtualization Solution, this webcast will help unravel the complexities associated with today's virtualization options. You'll learn about the differences between today's major players and understand the direction in which the market is going. Making the jump to virtualization is a big decision. Make sure you start that process with the best information available.
